New promotional renders have revealed the Lenovo Googlebook 15 ahead of its expected pre-order launch on September 21. Shared by reliable tipster Evan Blass, the images offer an early look at both the laptop and several matching accessories, suggesting that Googlebook will arrive as a wider hardware ecosystem rather than a single device.
The laptop has a clean silver finish and relatively slim profile, measuring approximately 341.1 × 236 × 16 mm and weighing 1.29 kg. Its most recognizable feature is the multicolored Glowbar placed near the edge of the lid, reportedly used to communicate battery and charging information. A matching Lenovo mouse carries a similar illuminated strip, helping establish a common visual identity for Google’s new platform.

The Lenovo Googlebook 15 is expected to feature a 15.3-inch OLED touchscreen with a 2880 × 1800-pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 500-nit peak brightness and complete DCI-P3 color coverage. Above it sits a 5 MP camera with facial recognition and a physical privacy shutter. The keyboard is backlit, while the large 150 × 95 mm touchpad reportedly uses haptic feedback. A dedicated Google “G” key appears between Fn and Alt, although its purpose remains unconfirmed. It could provide direct access to Gemini or another system-level AI feature.
Leaked specifications point to an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor, accompanied by 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 256 GB or 512 GB of SSD storage. Connectivity should include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A 3.2, HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5 mm audio jack. A four-speaker system handles sound, while the 70 Wh battery is said to provide up to 11 hours of use.
The renders also show a coordinated collection of accessories, including the illuminated mouse, Lenovo E310 wireless earbuds and a 540 Convertible Tote backpack that could be included in selected bundles. Googlebook software reportedly combines elements of Android and ChromeOS, placing Gemini Intelligence and continuity between smartphones and laptops at the center. Pricing remains unknown, but the OLED panel, Core Ultra processor and premium construction suggest that Lenovo is targeting the upper end of the laptop market.
