Xiaomi has revealed the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max in a striking new colour called Starry River Blue. Also translated as Galaxy Blue, the finish arrives only a few days before the flagship series is officially introduced in China on September 23.
The design combines a deep blue base with countless reflective dots, creating the impression of a star-filled night sky. Xiaomi says the colour was inspired by distant nebulae and cosmic landscapes. Its glossy rear panel contrasts with the matte-finished metal frame, while a brighter streak resembling a shooting star appears across the secondary display.
That rear screen is once again integrated into the enormous Leica-branded camera island. Unlike a conventional decorative panel, it is expected to support widgets, notifications and small AI-generated applications. Two large camera lenses sit vertically beside it, with the rest of the sensors and LED flash positioned underneath.
Xiaomi has already confirmed a new-generation Super Pixel display and two 200-megapixel cameras covering the main and telephoto roles. The exact battery capacities and remaining specifications should be detailed during the Chinese launch event.
Additional colours are likely to be announced before the presentation. More importantly, reports suggest that the Xiaomi 18 Pro models could receive a European release this generation, although Xiaomi has yet to confirm international availability, configurations or prices.
