Xiaomi 18 Fold appears to be the next foldable device from Xiaomi, a replacement for the would be Xiaomi Mix Fold 5. Xiaomi went the wide fold route, like the Huawei Pura X Max and Galaxy Z Fold8. Today we have the very first real life images leaked online.
The device seems to wear the same Red finish as the K100 Pro Max model. Honestly it feels like the same Dark Cherry red like the iPhone 18 Pro Max, according to leaks. We see 3 camera lenses here and an LED flash. It feels a bit like the Google Pixel camera module shape. Xiaomi already confirmed the 18 Fold will launch in September and it will be the first device with the XRING O3 chip inside.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun previously said that the phone will be part of the busy September launch scheduled. The XRING O3 CPU has reportedly reached over 5.22 million points on AnTuTu. This is a deca core CPU, with all of the cores classified as big cores, instead of combining big and smaller efficiency cores. There should also be LPDDR6 memory inside, which pushes the memory bandwith to ac razy 113.8 GB/s, around 48% higher than the previous XRING O1.
Odds are very small we’ll ever see this outside China.
