Galaxy S27 Ultra renders pair a bold camera island with a surprisingly soft pink finish

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra could trade its familiar scattered camera rings for a much more architectural rear panel. The supplied unofficial renders depict a broad, rounded rectangular camera island spanning almost the entire width of the phone, paired with black, deep blue, pale pink and white finishes. Those colors match the base options recently reported by Ice Universe, who also mentions a special violet variant. The images illustrate a possible direction rather than a confirmed Samsung design, but the combination is striking: a visually heavier camera assembly balanced by restrained, almost powdery colors.

The camera housing does most of the design work here. Two large circular lenses sit vertically on the left, beside a black pill-shaped element containing a smaller lens and flash. A generous stretch of empty space extends to the right, making the entire assembly read as one continuous panel. That arrangement gives the back a strong horizontal division, with the camera island anchoring the top and an otherwise clean surface below. Its rounded corners echo the outline of the handset, while matching colors across the housing, rear panel and frame help bring the separate parts together. The wide platform also invites comparisons with recent iPhone Pro designs, although the clustered lenses give this interpretation its own rhythm.

Color changes how that geometry feels. Black largely absorbs the boundaries between the camera island and body, creating the most understated version. Deep blue preserves that restraint while allowing highlights along the frame and lens rings to stand out. White makes the black camera elements especially prominent, emphasizing the asymmetrical layout. Pale pink is the most interesting treatment: its muted tone softens the large slab without disguising it, while the matching frame avoids an abrupt metallic border.

If light pink reaches regular retail as reported, it would give the Ultra a more expressive option beyond Samsung’s usual neutral finishes. The renders suggest a satin-like appearance, though actual materials, texture and shades remain unconfirmed.
