Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is preparing for its debut in January 2027 most likely and leaks have already surface of its design. The one happening today changes the game a little bit and makes the device closer to an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Notice how the camera module is rectangular now, thick and wide. We also gettint only three cameras, apparently the 200 MP main one, the telephoto 5X optical zoom and ultrawide. The secondary telephoto with 3X optical zoom has been canned. Ice Universe is behind this leak and he’s a pretty legit source. Since HONOR has also been doing the horizontal camera bar thing and even Huawei is ditching its trademark triangle, this is a very likely approach.
The image also shows a circular magnetic ring area, designed for Qi2 wireless charging and compatibler accessories. So, Samsung is finally giving in to pressure and including magnets, instead of forcing us buy cases with magnets. Rumors say we should expect on the Galaxy S27 Ultra a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro CPU, a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide shooter with autofocus and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5X optical zoom and OIS.
Expect a ton of criticism from Samsung fans for this design.
