Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to expand its hugely popular fitness tracker lineup with the Xiaomi Smart Band 11, and this year’s generation could offer more choice than ever. Information spotted inside the Xiaomi Health Research app suggests the wearable will be available in four different versions, including a brand-new all-metal edition.
The lineup is expected to include the Xiaomi Smart Band 11, Smart Band 11 NFC, Smart Band 11 Ceramic Edition and Smart Band 11 All-Metal Edition. The latter would be the biggest addition compared with previous generations, potentially giving Xiaomi’s affordable tracker a considerably more premium look and feel. The leaked images also point to the familiar elongated display design, paired with a refreshed selection of watch faces.
Despite the different materials and finishes, the four models are reportedly based on the same hardware. Current information points to a 1.72-inch AMOLED display and a 233mAh battery, alongside improvements to sleep tracking, faster blood oxygen and heart-rate measurements and support for more than 100 workout modes. Xiaomi is also said to be working on a redesigned interface that could look significantly different from the current Smart Band software.
Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced the Smart Band 11 yet, so pricing and availability remain unknown. If the standard model maintains the aggressive pricing of its predecessors — roughly $50 — the Smart Band 11 could once again be one of the easiest fitness trackers to recommend, while the Ceramic and All-Metal editions target buyers looking for something more premium.
