Leaked Huawei Mate 90 RS Ultimate render shows a red and white design

An unofficial render offers a clearer look at what Huawei’s next luxury phone might look like. The image depicts the Huawei Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design with a bright red upper section and a pale lower half, divided beneath its large octagonal camera bump. It was created after Huawei executive Richard Yu was photographed carrying an unidentified phone, so it should be treated as an interpretation of that blurry sighting, not a leaked official product image.

The camera island and four diagonal stripes look familiar from the previous RS model. The two-tone finish is the notable change: it gives the rear panel a much sharper contrast than the largely single-color designs Huawei has used recently. An earlier leak also claimed the RS Ultimate could return to a ceramic back, though neither the material nor the colors have been confirmed.

As for specs, a separate leak claims the RS Ultimate will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 40-megapixel ultrawide and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera, plus a multispectral sensor. It also lists 100W charging and dimensions of 164.5 × 78.5 × 8.15mm. Those details reportedly match the Mate 90 Pro Max, while black, red and white are listed as color options for the RS model. None of these specifications has been verified by Huawei.

A new Kirin chip is expected across the upper end of the Mate 90 range, but reports differ on the exact chip assignments. For now, the render tells us more about the possible appearance of Huawei’s top Mate than its hardware. We’ll need an official announcement to know whether that red and white finish, ceramic back and rumored camera setup are headed to the final phone.
